Drinking Glass Inspection
In the area of of drinking glass analysis, we could gain experiences from a more than 15 year cooperation with Zwiesel Kristallglas AG (formerly Schott Zwiesel AG) in development, operation and maintenance of production testing facilities in their production site in Zwiesel.

Multiple, problem specific optimized, measuring processes are used for geometric and cosmetic characteristics. Unlike to container glass testing, the main topic is not the throughput, but the ability to test a wide variety of different features with high precision. Additionally, drinking glass production shows a big range of different product types with partly extreme different geometrical and optical shapes. Therefore, high flexibility and easy configuration of the test equipment is needed. For the cosmetic characteristics, the manual quality sensation has to be build after by dedicated mathematical methods.

The picture shows one of our laboratory test benches for evaluation of test procedures prior to realization of custom specific test equipment and integration in production line. Additionally our mobile test benches can be used supporting production or for incoming inspection.
